Alicia Malone is a film reporter, reviewer, TV producer, editor and spectacular robot dancer. She’s also not too bad at recreating Beyonce’s “Single Ladies” dance.

Alicia has been working in the TV industry for over 12 years, and during that time she has hosted, produced and edited film-centric shows “Trailer Park”, “Movie Juice”, “PS”, “Redspace” and “Premiere” for the Australian cable network Movie Network Channels, hosted the live red carpet events for “Tropfest Film Festival” and the “Australian Film Industry Awards”.

A self-professed “film geek”, Alicia has taken advantage of her vast knowledge for her roles as movie expert for TV’s top rating “The Morning Show”, on radio for Triple M, Mix FM and 2Day FM, writing reviews and feature articles for “Filmink” magazine, and co-editing the popular “Moviehole” website.

Alicia has interviewed hundreds of celebrities, and hugged a fair few of them.

In late 2010, Alicia decided to pack it all in and try her luck in Hollywood, where red carpet premieres are an everyday occurrence and films come alive. So she quit her job, sold off her things, said goodbye to all her friends and family, and took her two suitcases to LA.

Since moving to the US and taking the giant leap into freelance, Alicia has worked regularly on the red carpet and in one-on-one interviews for Movie Network Channels Australia, “Mornings on 9″ Australia, “The Morning Show” on the Seven Network Australia, “Picture This” on 7Mate Australia, as a film expert on “The Dirt” 2Day FM Australia, features writer for “Filmink” Magazine Australia, NBC Newsfeed in the US, “Reelz” channel also in the US, and is the current US editor of the popular “Moviehole” website.
